Easy Pizza Dough

This Easy Pizza Dough yields 2 large pizza rounds that you could make at home in less than 30 minutes, with only 5 ingredients to begin.

It does require kneading but does not need rising. So, skip the pizza delivery today because it is really simple and easy to make. Best of all, you can put any toppings you like, or make use of the leftovers in your fridge and turn it to a delicious pizza.

Easy Pizza Dough Recipe


2 1/4 teaspoon active dry yeast (1 packet of .25 ounce)

1 teaspoon sugar

1 cup warm water (110 degrees F or 45 degrees C)

2 1/2 cups bread flour

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon salt

How to Make Easy Pizza Dough?


1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F or 230 degrees C.

2. In a medium bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Let stand until foamy and creamy, about 10 minutes.

3. Sift in flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix until the dough is smooth. Let rest for 5 minutes.

4. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and pat or roll into a round. Transfer pizza crust to a lightly greased pizza pan.

5. Spread with desired toppings, and bake in preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden brown. Let baked pizza cool for 5 minutes before serving.

  • Make sure that the yeast is still active. Check the expiration date. Do a proof test.
  • Warm water should be between 100-110 degrees F, anything over 130 degrees F will kill the yeast.
  • In this recipe, I used bread flour, but you are more than welcome to use all-purpose flour or plain flour.
  • Knead the dough by hand or use a hand mixer or stand mixer with the dough attachment.

Keto Pepperoni Pizza

A simple pizza fix without the carbs! It has everything you want in a regular pizza –tomato sauce, pepperoni and cheese deliciousness!

My family enjoys pizza for dinner once in a while. If it’s not Pizza Hut or Dominos, it’ll be Hells’, Sals or Pizza Club. Since I’m on a Keto diet, I won’t be able to enjoy those delicious pizzas with my family anymore unless I make my own Keto Pepperoni Pizza. It’s quite easy to make without the guilt. It just requires preparation.  

Keto Pepperoni Pizza Recipe



4 eggs

6 ounces shredded cheese, preferably mozzarella or provolone  


3 tablespoons tomato paste

1 teaspoon dried oregano

5 ounces shredded cheese

1 1/2 ounce pepperoni olives (optional)  


2 ounces leafy greens

4 tablespoons olive oil

sea salt and ground black pepper  

How to Make Keto Pepperoni Pizza?


  1. Preheat the oven to 400F (200C).

2. To make the crust, crack 4 eggs into a medium bowl and add 5 oz. shredded cheese. Stir to combine well.

3. Spread the cheese and egg batter with a spatula on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. You can make 2 round circles or 1 large rectangular pizza. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes until the pizza crust turns golden. Remove from the oven and let it cool for 2 minutes.

4. Spread 3 Tbsp tomato paste on the cooked crust and sprinkle oregano on top. Top with cheese and place pepperoni and olives.

5. Bake for another 5-10 minutes or until the pizza has turned golden brown.

6. Served with a fresh salad on the side.

Homemade Pizza

Today, we made our own pizza. Our flavours include: Simple Cheese and Garlic, Bacon and Cheese and Chicken and Camembert.
2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
1 tsp white sugar
1 cup warm water (45 degrees C)
2 1/2 cups bread flour
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt

Hawaiian PizzaDilla

Hawaiian PizzaDilla is easy and fun to make with kids. We used commercially prepared tortilla wrap as our pizza base. Kids love to spread pizza sauce on the tortilla and just “bam” threw all the ingredients on it. And surprisingly, the healthy ingredients were beautifully placed on it. We used sliced ham and pineapples and a lot of tasty cheese. These ingredients just  made sense when I said this recipe is a Hawaiian PizzaDilla hehe. 

Hawaiian PizzaDilla doesn’t need to be baked in the oven. We used a non-stick frying pan for this recipe. Just make sure to put the fire on low, so not to burn your base. Just wait for the cheese to melt and it’s ready to be served to your family or friends as a yummy afternoon snack. You can dash salt and pepper if you want. Hot sauce is another good option, but not recommended for kids.

Spaghetti Pizza Pie

Pizza Base/Dough:
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tbsp butter
3/4 – 1 cup milk

420 g can spaghetti in tomato sauce
1 small onion, thinly sliced
2 rashers cooked bacon, diced or 1/2 cup diced ham
225 g can pineapple pieces in syrup, drained well
1/2 capsicum, diced
1 -2 cups grated cheese

1. Make the base by sifting together the flour, baking powder and salt. Stir in the oregano and rub in the butter with the fingertips. Add enough milk to make a short dough.
2. Roll out on a floured board and place on a lined baking tray or in a greased pizza tray.
3. Spread with spaghetti and top with onion, bacon, pineapple, capsicum and cheese. Bake in an oven preheated to 220C for 15-20 minutes.

Tip: To make a cheesy crust pizza, after rolling out dough place a circle of cheese around the edge of the dough and roll the dough over the cheese, brush with milk and press it down. Complete by following step 3.
